Baked BBQ Ribs


2 small slabs of ribs

Dry Rub:
4 Tbsp. garlic powder
4 Tbsp. onion powder
4 Tbsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. salt
4 Tbsp. chili powder
4 Tbsp. cumin
8 Tbsp. brown sugar
6 Tbsp. paprika
2 tsp. cayenne pepper

6oz. pure maple syrup
1 Tbsp. Heinz Chili sauce
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. Red Wine Vinegar
1 small onion, chopped fine
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
salt and pepper to taste

Combine dry rub ingredients.
Rub on both sides of your ribs and allow to marinate 6-8 hrs. before cooking.

Wrap each slab tightly in foil. Place on a rack on baking sheets. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours.

While ribs are cooking combine all BBQ sauce ingredients in a bowl.

Remove foil. Bake 20 minutes uncovered. Pour off drippings. Place ribs into a deeper baking pan. Pour sauce over the ribs and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes UNCOVERED.
