1 tbsp Butter
2 cloves garlic, sliced thin
1 1/2 lb fresh sugar snap peas
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
3/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Remove and discard the stem end and string from each sugar snap pod.
Melt the butter in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat.
Add the garlic and sauté until just about golden, about 30 seconds.
Then add sugar snap peas, salt and pepper and sauté, tossing occasionally for 3 to 5 minutes, until the sugar snap peas are tender crisp.
